If the Customer provided an Instagram account in their Onboarding submission, we will need to connect it.

To connect TownSites and Instagram, Select Social Feed → Instagram Options from the left-hand menu.

On this page, we will be working in the second section, Instagram Business API Token.

• Click Login and get my Access Token (the button with the Facebook logo on it).

• Double check to see that you are logged in under the TownSites Public Facebook account. Click Edit Settings.

• If you linked Instagram to Facebook correctly in the previous step, you should see the Instagram account name on the next page. Ensure the box next to it is checked, and click Next.

• A list of Facebook pages should appear. Make sure the Facebook page you previously created is checked. Click Next.

• On the next page, flip all toggles to Yes and click Done.
• Click OK to go back to the TownSite.

If all went well, you should receive the message “Your Access Token is working!” in green.

• Click on the Instagram account shown and click the green Save button.

Finally, paste the Instagram username and password into the provided fields (see right).

Next, we will grant TownSites permission to post on Instagram.

Select Social Auto Poster → Settings from the left-hand menu.

• Click the tab at the top, then scroll down to the Instagram API Settings box and click the Add Instagram Account button.

• Double check to see that you are logged in under the TownSites Public Facebook account. Click Edit Settings.

If the Edit Settings button does not appear, click Continue As (your name).

• If you linked Instagram to Facebook correctly, you should see the Instagram account name on the next page. Ensure the box next to it is checked, and click Next.

• A list of Facebook pages should appear. Make sure the Facebook page you previously created is checked. Click Next.

• On the next page, flip all toggles to Yes and click Done.
• Click OK to go back to the TownSite.
